A couple of months ago we sent out a survey asking for your views on some new ideas we had for Buycraft. We were delighted with the huge number of responses we got and also with the overwhelming positivity that you all responded with.

Motivated by your feedback, we are moving ahead with a number of these ideas including one that we're excited to be announcing today - a suite of tools to enable community owners to monitor their server analytics and combine this to their current store analytics to help make their community bigger and better, by learning about a player's in-game habits and how that relates to their purchases from your store.

In order to achieve this as quickly as possible, we've recently taken over a US startup some of you may have heard of called Statscraft. We are confident that under our ownership we can bring all the things we've learned from Buycraft and use them to improve the Statscraft experience, while building all the current features, and many new ones, into Buycraft, where it will become known as Buycraft Analytics.

We're still finalising the plans on some of the new features but some things we already know we will be doing are: allowing servers to track custom events, linking your in-game player data with your Buycraft player data and using this data to allow you to track and predict your server's profitability.

As a starting point, we've just moved the current Statscraft server to new infrastructure, using the same scalable architecture as Buycraft does, to ensure it's stability over the busy winter period. You can already link your Buycraft data to your Statscraft data by logging into Statscraft, editing your servers and adding your Buycraft server secret keys to each server. You'll start to see the new features as soon as they are available, including a new one launched today in your server Dashboard!

Our newest feature for tracking revenue per serverAbsorbing all this functionality into Buycraft is going to take a little while although we can't wait to get started, so in the meantime Statscraft will still run in its current form as a stand-alone platform. We will be adding more and more ties between the platforms as we go, and the new features along with all your current Statscraft data will be available in your Buycraft Analytics account when the final transfer is complete. So if you want to get a head start with learning more about your players head over to Statscraft now and sign up now.

We're really excited about the opportunities this holds - we certainly think that being able to get in-depth views on your players and their purchasing habits is going to be a game changer, and we hope you're all as excited as we are. We want to work with you to build Buycraft Analytics into the best analytics platform for Minecraft servers, so if you have any ideas or suggestions please let us know.

Feature Spotlight: Player checks for fraud protection

With our experience in the gaming space, we know that fraud is a big issue for many merchants. A big chunk of this comes from players who have no reason to buy from your store - users who have never played on your server, or someone pretending to be another
