Discord is another powerful tool that you can use to issue products to your customer base. You can use this in conjunction with your server or content creation store, or as a separate standalone Discord store. Discord is the largest social media platform designed for gamers, and of course, this is a perfect fit for many merchants using Tebex. It is a great way for you to connect with your community and reward them outside of the game as well as ingame.

Discord Roles As Rewards

Tebex provides a super convenient way to automate Discord roles using our Discord bot. The bot is simple so there is no long list of confusing commands for you to use, and many of our stores sell a variety of roles on their Discord server or even sell access to join the server, which is convenient for a private group of supporters only. Check out Ted's tutorial for the Discord bot below:

After you've watched the video you should be a little more familiar with the Discord bot, and what you can use it for. You can easily set up roles and even roles for specific channels so only certain supporters can view/chat/read private channels. You are also able to automate private access to a Discord server, with an automatically generated 1 use Discord invite once the customer purchases the product. Are you getting any ideas of what you could use this for with your project yet?

If you are running Discord in conjunction with a game server, you can really boost your customer rewards by also issuing Discord roles when purchased, giving your products an extra something to make your customer feel rewarded for supporting you and your server.

If you are running Discord in conjunction with selling plugins, scripts, mods etc, then you are in the right place. Many sellers provide Discord roles when they sell their content, so they can easily keep track of who has bought which product, and the customer is often given a role named after the product.

You can also use the Tebex Discord bot for supporting your Discord community, whether you run a tabletop community or a server dedicated to the overlords of the internet: cats, you can use the bot to monetize your server and help fund your project.

If you run a community without a game server, such as a Discord community, you can run a Discord only store. Watch Ted's video to see how it works:

Selling Discord Access To A Private Server

Watch Ted's video below to see how you can issue access to your private Discord server via an automated invite link:

Most commonly we see stores selling roles such as VIP, which gets the customer noticed in the Discord server, probably access to a VIP channel, and you can also set emojis to be restricted per role (you need to use the Discord API for this - we can't help you set this up).

Selling Discord Access will be very useful for private servers, perhaps you run a niche community where you want to control who joins and avoid random joins from people who don't understand your community's goal. This is ideal for those situations and can allow you to build a closer-knit community.

As you can see, there is a world of opportunity waiting for you, I hope this post helps explain what you can do with Discord and how it can help you, your project and your community to flourish.
