This post will take a look at a brilliant Minecraft builder and YouTuber called ChrisDaCow, and the recently revealed Starry Night build!

Those of you in the Minecraft community will already know how creative builders can be, whether it is The Uncensored Library or one of the first builds to capture people's imagination so long ago, the starship Enterprise from Star Trek made by Haikun!. If you're brand new to Minecraft, a very easy explanation of this fantastic game is you simply build block by block, like a brick game.

In Minecraft, you can simply play by yourself in your own world or on a server with other people if you want help completing your build. Let's take a look at this incredible build for Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh, created by ChrisDaCow :

As you can see from watching this video, all the hard work paid off and the result is a fantastic interpretation of Starry Night in 3D. Converting a 2D image to a 3D world that can be explored was one of the challenges faced by ChrisDaCow, and along the way, ChrisDaCow began to understand the painting much more. At the end of the video you'll see a quick comparison between the original painting and the finished Minecraft build, it is really very beautiful and congratulations to ChrisDaCow!

Minecraft is a truly open-world game with incredible freedom, play alone or play with others, and play on PC, Xbox, Switch or mobile. There's a lot of choice and flexibility whatever your play style. Just recently the new 'The Wild' update was launched for Minecraft, introducing new items, blocks, monsters and biomes! It's a fantastic update bringing new content to the most popular game of all time, and we know many people are already enjoying exploring their worlds.

ChrisDaCow also has many other build videos, let's take a look at the beautiful and atmospheric Saxeus Castle (which evokes Skyrim vibes!):

If you're interested in starting a Minecraft server to play with people in your community or grow your own from scratch, Tebex offers a completely free store solution (there is a paid plan that is entirely optional), that you can use to help recoup server costs. And, we also have a basic tutorial for getting your store set up and ready to go, which you can read here.

Every server owner creates their own universe with their community, and I can only imagine what it would be like to build a Starry Night town where your players can live in the little houses. That would be fantastic to get new players excited for joining your community! Or, having their own quarters on the Enterprise! The point is, your Minecraft server is as creative as you want to make it, so happy building and good luck with your builds and community!
