Last month, we announced our partnership with the CFX Collective to provide monetization options for the FiveM community. Over this past month we've been working through the soft-launch with a small number of servers, taking on feedback and improving the system, and we're delighted to confirm that we're almost ready for global launch.
Gaming is a global pastime - gaming brings together players from all corners of the world, and we're pleased to be able to support servers and their players, no matter where they're from. Tebex Checkout forms a key part of the FiveM monetization platform, where we're able to offer a wide range of payment methods, meeting the needs of players from the UK to China, Russia to Brazil and everywhere in between. In our experience, many platforms only focus on the needs of small regions, offering PayPal and Cards, and not much else. Tebex are working with a wide range of payment partners to ensure we don't fall into this trap, and we've been delighted with the feedback we've already received, knowing that we are allowing servers to reach a wide player base, while also getting feedback on how we can make it even better in future.
Supporting such a wide range of payment methods of course has it's complexities, and we're finalising the last few points in preparation for launch. In the meantime, we want to ensure that once Tebex Checkout is launched, servers are ready to go straight away. As such, we're pleased to announce that registration for the FiveM monetization platform is now open. This means that server owners can start setting up their stores, populating their content and testing the integration through the use of manual payments, so that once the full release happens, they are ready to start accepting payments straight away.
