Have you ever gone into a store and decided to buy a pair of shoes, and the assistant recommends shoe cleaner or waterproof spray to protect your new item? This is basically what upselling is. When a product is sold, it will normally be accompanied by recommended products that go hand in hand.
Upselling is a great tool that you can use passively on your store. Once you configure upselling on your store, you can just leave it to run by itself, and see how effective it is on the new Upselling statistics page.
If you'd like to turn off upselling, you're able to do so by going to Engagement > Upselling within your control panel.
