Introducing the BETA of the new Bukkit plugin & RESTful API

Over the last few months we have been working hard to recreate our old and outdated Bukkit Plugin. We're finally at a position to reveal it to the public and get some initial feedback.

We started with a brand new RESTful API which will eventually replace the old API we've been using since the first launch of Buycraft (Over 4 years ago!). This API has been created with public usage in mind - if you're a developer and you'd like to create an SDK we'd love to see what you come up with. You can view the temporary documentation at http://bit.ly/1mnULJl.

The plugin has been completely recreated from the ground up and is much more reliable and performance orientated than the old plugin. A good example of this is that servers which have thousands of pending commands will no longer experience the dreaded timeout issues.

Due to the large amount of changes to the plugin this release will not be included in auto updaters and the old configuration file will not be compatible. We've decided to start from scratch and to make the most of the rewrite. Recent payment signs and buy now signs will also not be compatible with the older versions of these features - please treat this release as an entirely new and different plugin.

We're confident that the plugin is stable and commands will execute properly however please bear in mind that this is a public beta and we cannot promise that anything unexpected will not occur. Over the course of the next few days we will release documentation on how to use all the features of the plugin, but for now if you are a server owner we'd love for you to test out the plugin and report any issues.

Please note that the plugin is only compatible with Spigot 1.8 or above.
